Swecare Member Worldish Selected for Major AI Interpretation Rollout in Sweden

Swecare member Worldish has been selected by Region Örebro County to provide AI-powered medical interpretation services across the region and eight municipalities, marking one of the largest deployments of healthcare AI interpretation technology in Sweden to date.

Following extensive testing of several AI interpretation solutions, the region chose Worldish's Helen Assistant, a CE-marked medical AI interpreter designed specifically for healthcare and welfare settings. The implementation will provide more than 15,000 healthcare and welfare professionals with access to interpretation support in over 100 languages and dialects.

The agreement covers Region Örebro County and the municipalities of Örebro, Hallsberg, Kumla, Lindesberg, Ljusnarsberg, Laxå, Nora, and Lekeberg. By creating a shared regional framework, the initiative aims to improve communication, strengthen patient safety, and increase access to inclusive public services.

The Örebro deployment highlights how Swedish health innovation is helping address real-world challenges in healthcare delivery. It also represents an important milestone for Worldish, whose solutions are now used by more than 50,000 healthcare professionals across ten countries.

As healthcare systems continue to seek digital solutions that improve accessibility and efficiency, this project demonstrates the growing role Swedish HealthTech companies can play in supporting more equitable care and welfare services.

At Swecare, we are proud to see our members contributing to better health outcomes globally and helping bring Swedish knowledge, innovation, and healthcare solutions to patients around the world.
