Over the years, Sweden has developed several areas of excellence and strength, such as oncology, neuroscience, pharma development, and more recently precision medicine. Swecare has chosen to focus on five thematic areas, which are considered areas of strength for both Swedish healthcare and solutions offered by Swedish companies, at the same time representing major global challenges.
Aspects of the Swedish system such as policies and guidelines, research, education, but above all Swedish innovations and solutions from the Swedish life science sector are highlighted in the following five areas:
